What to expect at your first appointment:
Your initial one-hour visit will include a review of your past medical history, current medications, and any surgeries you’ve had from the knees down. The initial discussion and medical history review will also cover:

If you’ve previously consulted a podiatrist or vascular surgeon

If you are a current or former smoker

If you’ve experienced any burning or tingling sensations in your feet

An assessment of your circulation.

An assessment of your current musculoskeletal, neurological, and vascular health.

All recommendations and referrals will be documented, with guidance for further care if needed.

Once the assessment is complete, the rest of the appointment will focus on providing foot and nail care, including trimming toenails, callus removal, and lotion application.
What to expect at follow up appointments:
Follow-up appointments will focus primarily on the lower extremities, transitioning to a targeted assessment and routine foot and nail care. After the treatment session, lotion will be applied, and assistance will be provided with putting on compression stockings, socks, and shoes if needed. These appointments typically take 30 minutes to an hour.
